Completely different

Well, I went out this afternoon to get me a nice, cheap digital camera that was advertised and ended with something completely different. I burnt some cash and I got me Dragon Naturally Speaking XP Preferred.

Since it comes highly recomended from more than a few online pals I'm curious if I can work with it. I tested Dragon Speaking a few years ago and found it quite capable. I just hadn't any use for it.

Training

I have to train the program to recognize my speech. And I have to train to speak clearly. *grins* The problem is that the program complains of the lacking sound quality and it is right. I have a rather loud background noise - the fan of my computer. Unfortunately I have no idea how I can neutralize this.
