Work itself was/is blessfully quiet this Friday. We are again hampered by server crashes. So I'm more than lucky that no important tasks remain for this week.

My problems with getting up early continue. At least I don't get into trouble at work as long as I manage to start at 9am. But this one hour I have to stay longer these days cuts into my free time in the evening. Specifically, it cuts into the time I'm still reasonable awake.
My mother has birthday on Sunday. Yes, somehow the whole family managed to have their birthday in fall. And as soon as the last birthday is over we have to start looking for Christmas gifts. Anyway, because of this event I will be visiting my parents and stay until Monday. (I took one day free.) I will wait until 8pm or so before I start my trip. Just now the highways are jammed and hopefully this will become better later on.
