Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

It was a good movie and in some aspects even better than the first one. I had some difficulties to get into the story at first. My problem is Dobby. I didn't like him much in the book and I couldn't stand him in the movie. But after this first hurdle Harry Potter gripped me and didn't let go. Lucius Malfoy is a villain with much charisma and Gilderoy Lockheart made me howl with laughter. And btw, the actor of Ron has my admiration. He is wonderfully expressive. What else to say? The duel scene was great, and the Quidditch, and the spiders, and the toilet ghost, and.. and..

Lethargic weekend

It's soon over and I feel that I have done nothing except sleeping and reading. There was no motivation to do something and I wouldn't have even gone to Harry Potter if my friend wasn't with me. Maybe a part of the reason for that was the weather: gray, wet, cold - depressing. Another is certainly my general state of exhaustion. I need a vacation and sun. I don't mind a cold winter, but I need at least some sun rays and spots of blue sky.
