Ice rain
So I had planned to drive to my parents this afternoon. I had even managed to get all my things in order until 3:30am. Only the weather turned worse. There was ice rain in the night an the roads show it. It would be a half-serious attempt for suicide to drive today. So visiting my parents is delayed until - I hope - tomorrow.
Vacation has started
It's Monday evening and my vacation has finally started. The business meeting today was nice, no burden at all. But the roads are just dangerous. I'm not convinced that I can drive tomorrow. It's only a half degree above freezing point and it is raining. Meaning it will freeze in the night and we will have again a slide instead of a road. Ah well, I have time.
Ordered the last gifts at Amazon and couldn't resist to get something to read for myself. The Book of Jhereg by Steven Brust - the first three novels of the Vlad Taltos series. I don't know the author yet, but ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
jmtorres mentioned them and I want to give the series a try.
